Video Tutorials Explaining Twitter Basics


Are you new to Twitter and you don’t know things such as “What is Retweet?” “What is Following?” “What is a Timeline?” and “How to Find People and Be Found“.

Don’t worry, Twitter is very simple to use. You just type in 140 characters or less, hit “Tweet,” and you’re done. But actually it’s a bit more complicated if you want to get more out of it. So Twitter has started doing what any good company should — they’ve started making video tutorials.Twitter has now come up with series of videos on youtube which explains all these things, in simple terms.

Twitter’s Retweet (RT) feature enables you to quickly share and discover Tweets. Peter Finalyson, who leads a non-profit that uses Twitter, is featured in this video. He explains why retweeting is exciting for him and what happens when you post a retweet.

Following someone on Twitter is a way of subscribing to their Tweets.When you start following another Twitter user, you’ll begin to see their Tweets in your Timeline. Twitter is a lot of fun and can be very informative if you follow a diverse, interesting group of people and sources. This video describes some of our tools that make it easy to find friends and accounts on Twitter.
