Asus has unveiled the the world’s thinnest notebook called AsusU36 Notebook. This notebook is mere 19mm in thickness and weighs just 1.44kg.

Asus U36 notebook is empowered with a lot of enhanced features including 13.3 inches of display screen with 1366 x 768 pixels of resolution and Intel Core i3 or i5 processor

    Looks very nice, and portable, but I bet it can be easily damaged especially with a screen so thin

    We had a screen damaged without any excessive force being applied. The main problem on inspection is that the lid can flex so much when it’s closed and this seems to have allowed the ribbon cable/connector to fail, leaving the centre 50% of the screen with no signal.
