Freelancing is one of the popular thing among all of us who are working online. First I would like to tell you all that never totally depends on freelancing because its always risk, weather you get new clients or not. But If you think you can get enough client to run your life you will continue with it, but till that you must have some offline work as well. But, there is a question in our minds how can get get work online. I am going to give a little overview on how to get maximum work/job online.

Your Portfolio or Resume

First and most important thing is to create your better looking and informative portfolio, in offline word you can say it as your CV. You must put all the information in it, that what you can do, and whats your capabilities. Give any previous work as an example if available.

Keep your resume up to date, so that people knows that you are alive and ready to do any work, because if your resume is not active people will consider that you are not doing good or having no work, and they will be scared giving you a work or job.

Network with other Peoples

Second most important thing is to create relation ship with other freelancers  and people who are doing online things, make new friends,found new people doing same work as you, in this way your knowledge will also get updated. You can share more ideas, and by networking with more people the chance of getting some work will be increased.

For networking with people you can use social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc. In this way you will find more sites and people to send your portfolio as well.

Now A little Guide on Where and how to get Online Work

• Search and find forums related to your work, and try to find people doing work same like you. Try to make a list of jobs opportunity you fine there.
• As there are many scams happening online so do proper research on any job you find, and make sure it is not scam. Check company back ground and its age of existence.
• Check out job auction websites where people advertise their needs, and try to find related to yours.
• Do sign up on different sites and regularly submit your resumes to different sites, so that more people recognize you.
