Chinese designer Wang Yifei has come up with a foldable phone, the Nokia E10, which lets you roll out the display to make or receive mail, and when not in use you may simply stash it to place in your pocket.

Nokia has already registered a patent describing the integration of foldable displays into mobile phones, though there are indications that the technology would cover a wide range of consumer devices like portable music players, notebooks, etc

Apart from the E10, Nokia is planning to incorporate nanotechnology in its high-end devices, such as the Morph, to increase utility and reduce manufacturing costs in coming years.
