Apple has finally released iPad in India starting from today. You can visit the nearest Apple retailer (or iStore) to buy this amazing tablet.

The Apple has set Rs 27,990 as starting price. The base version of the iPad (16 GB, wi-fi only) has been selling at Rs 33,000 in the grey market and on online stores.

Wi-Fi only iPad
16GB: Rs 27,900
32GB: Rs 32,900
64GB: Rs 37,900
3G and Wi-Fi iPad versions
16GB: Rs 34,900
32GB: Rs 39,900
64GB: Rs 44,900
The 16GB Wi-Fi only version will be priced at Rs 27,990 while the top of the line 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G version will be priced at Rs 44,990.
The iPad launch was announced in the US exactly a year ago (January 27, 2010), though it only went on sale in April 2011. Since then, the iPad has single-handedly reinvented the tablet market.Within one year Apple has sold nearly 15 million units, earning close to $10 billion in revenue. Recently iPad has earned the Best Gadget of the year 2010 by the TIME.
This devices is going to add an increasing competition from other tablet makers like Samsung, Motorola and BlackBerry and your choice becomes confusing- wait for iPad 2 or pick up a non-Apple device that packs in more features.
Apple will make the iPad available through its own retail channels in addition to its deal with BSNL while Airtel, Vodafone and Idea have been selling micro SIM cards (for 3G versions) for some time.BSNL is offering both prepaid and postpaid plans. Unlimited usage costs Rs 999 per month in both prepaid and postpaid. There is a limited usage plan at Rs 599 per month with free 6GB of usage. In prepaid, there is also a daily unlimited plan at Rs 99 with one day validity. Both pre-paid and post-paid plans have activation charges of Rs 100.

And I have one suggestion for your Blog , You have not set a SEO Permalink for your blog.
If you change it to /%postname%/ it would be more SEO friendly.
Just a suggestion though!

Thanks for the suggestion. Your idea o using /%postname%/ in permalink is good but as the site grows it will lead to duplication of url and confusions. I have found these kind issue in many blogs who used the same kind of permalink.
Using month and year is good for getting recognized by sites like Google News and other agencies. Also I get more than 60% of visitors from Google.
