Lenovo, the leading PC manufacturing company is now ready to compete with Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab. It has been working on the design of tablets from a year ago. Now, Lenovo introduces the equipment Hybrid IdeaPad U1 associated with a tablet, the Lenovo Pad model.

It has a 10.1 inch screen and works on a Google’s Android 2.2 OS, code-named as Froyo. CES also showed IdeaPad U1 Hybrid which can turn LePad to netbook. U1 is priced at about$1000. Though LePad serves as a monitor but it can be detached as a tablet. First version of Tablet had different operating system and chipset.
Lenovo made partnership with mobile carriers and content partners to add gaming, news and other features. It runs on a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
