Permanently Erase your Files using Secure Wipe Tool


If you have deleted any important data from your hard drive, then it can be restored from the recycle bin. If the data is deleted from the recycle bin, then data recovery software comes into action. But what if your confidential information is recovered by a malicious source? To avoid this kind of situation, you can use Secure Wipe Tool.

Secure Wipe is an advance app that permanently deletes data from a specified directory or file. It also lets you configure advanced settings from the Settings tab. Here you can restrain the memory usage. You can also activate the sub folder deletion, define the file erasing parameters, and enable the silent mode. Secure Wipe runs in the backdrop, when the silent mode is enabled. You are also allowed to delete files using Pseudorandom, 1 Pass, RCMP – 3 Pass, Gutman 35- Pass US DoD E – 3 Pass,etc and define the number of passes per file.

Secure Wipe portable version is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It’s a freeware and can be downloaded from here.

    Is this better than CCleaner? I use this software for deleting files in my laptop. But I don’t know which one is better.

      CCleaner just deletes the files but this tool will delete it permanently. No it is not better than CCleaner.
