If you’re doing any changes to your PC like installing new software, desktop themes, or making registry and other software edits, you should create a system restore point. With the help of system restore point, you roll back any changes you’ve made if it all goes wrong or if you decide you don’t like the changes you’ve made and want a quick fix.
How to create a system restore point in Windows 7:
To create a system restore point in Windows 7, follow the below steps
- Click the Start button, type create restore, and click on Create a restore point
- In the System Properties dialog box, click Create
- Give your restore point a name and click Create
- Wait while Windows creates a system restore point for you. Finally you get the message – ” The restore point was created successfully.”
