How to Check if an Email Address is Valid or Not

Everyday we receive a lot of e mail and most of them are junk e-mail or spam mails. Often we don’t realize if an email address is valid or not. There isn’t any direct way to know if an email address is valid or not.

Scan Mail Checker is definitely an useful free applicaion that confirms if email addresses of your list are valid. This software is intuitive, simple to use, effective and efficient to check and clean your e-mail lists or your contact lists. It may determine up to 80% of invalid emails.

You can import e-mails to the app in several methods like text file, CSV, Excel, Access File or a database file. When imported, you can begin the process of checking. The application will scan through all the emails and lists out the e-mail that are valid and also invalid.

Features of Scan Mail Checker

  • Eliminates repeated e-mail addresses
  • Checks the syntax of addresses
  • Checks if the e-mail domain is presently available
  • Checks if the e-mail address is available on its mail server

The scanning speed depends on the size of your list and your Internet connection. If the list is too big, you are able to run it overnight. Overall a great application to determine if an email ID is valid or not.
