So you’re browsing through your favorite website like this and you its love. You want that font too, so how do we go about finding out what that font is called? You can either make use of Firebug tool in Firefox or by using Developer tools in Google Chrome.
The easiest way to find out the fonts used in a webpage is to use WhatTheFont
Developed by one of the largest font providers, WhatTheFont is your number one spot for identifying your fonts. Simply upload an image of the font that you want to ID and upload it to their servers, and the system will show you multiple font results.

WhatFont is also available as extension for Chrome that tells you which fonts have been used on the site and it’s attributes.

The WhatFont button appears when it’s installed. Click on the button and mouse over any font to find out which one it is. You can right-click on the web page and the extension adds a small box that tells you which font family the font is from, what font size has been used, the weight and the line height. It can identify and give complete details of all fonts used anywhere on a single page of a website. But this extension does not identify fonts used in images.
