Mobile Phones has become part of everyone’s life and its usage has increased several in past few years. However there are people who have mobile phones but not get enough electricity to or there are occasions like trekking and camping, when you don’t have any source to charge their phones
To resolve this issue TES NewEnergy , a Japanese company, has created a new USB based charger called Pan Charger that can charge your mobile phone without requiring electricity . Instead of electricity it uses heat source which could be as simple as a pan of boiling water or even a campfire.

“Unlike a solar power generator, our pot can be used regardless of time of day and weather while its small size allows people to easily carry it in a bag in case of evacuation,” said director and co-developer Ryoji Funahashi.
Pan Charger can charge any cellphone, MP3 player or other mobile device over a USB connection in 3-5 hours. The device also has a built-in radio and a lantern – things that you often need when there’s no power.
According to an AFP report, Pan Charger is now available in Japan this month for 24,150 yen ($299), and plans to market it later in developing countries with patchy power grids.
