How to Automatically Post to Twitter and Facebook from Google+

Right now there is no direct way to post Google+ updates to Twitter and Facebook.  However Zane Claes has developed Start G+, a chrome extension, that could come in handy for people who want to cross post the updates to other social networks like  Twitter and Facebook directly from Google+.

For cross posting to Twitter and Facebook, you need to login to these services on your Google Chrome browser.

Here’s a few things that Start G+ can do:

  • Put your Facebook and Twitter streams inside your Google Plus stream, complete with “Stream” links on the side and rich media
  • Automatically post to Facebook AND Twitter whenever you share something on Google Plus
  • Add a Gmail inbox notifier to the top bar, so that you do not have to keep a gmail tab open. Clicking on the Gmail icon shows a menu with the unread messages that let you access your emails directly inside Google+.

Download Start G+ Chrome Extension or visit Start Google+ for free invite and to sync your Facebook photos.
