There are thousands of apps available in Android market under various categories and also it is increasing exponentially. The more apps you install on your Android device, it becomes very difficult to switch between various applications. The Recent Apps screen is a good way to switch between applications however it is not really the most efficient way.

SwipePad is an excellent android app that helps you handle more applications efficiently. This app provides a quick access to your desired app, taking multi-tasking to a whole new level and gives your productivity a big boost.

With SwipePad you can set the region of your screen you want to use to toggle the shortcut pad. By default the region is set to the top right side of your screen. Simply slide your finger down the right side of your screen and then to the middle and magically appears 12 slots that you can assign by holding your finger over them for 2 seconds. This app constantly runs in the background however it doesn’t crash, lag or drain battery.

• MoreSpace – Adds more pads and slots to your screen. Multiple swipe regions can be used to launch different pads for apps, shortcuts, contacts or bookmarks.
• AppLauncher – Removes the limitation of defining 12 slots and gets you the full list of application entries from within any app.
• Tasking – Tasking is a task manager overlay in SwipePad. It helps you manage your currently running applications right on them.
