How to Create a Bootable Windows OS Installation DVD


Mostly take a backup of our Windows setup CD/DVD on our hard disk by just copying all the files and folders on our PC. Later when we try to create a new setup disk by burning the backup files and folders on the new disk.  However it doesn’t work as expected because it won’t be a bootable disk.

So how to create a bootable Windows setup disk? We have a simple and easy to use solution. It is a lightweight and portable tool which allows you to create bootable ISO image of Windows XP, Vista and 7 which can be burned using any disk burning software or using Windows 7 built-in Disk image burner tool.

Windows Bootable Image Creator is a free windows software that allows you to create bootable ISO image of Windows XP, Vista and 7 which can be burned using any disk burning software or using Windows 7 built-in Disk image burner tool.

First download WBI Creator.  Since it is a portable application, you don’t need to install it, simply extract the zip file after downloading and open the exe file to run. First select the OS type, assign any desired name of the ISO file, select the folder containing windows setup files, select the target older for the output ISO file and you are do.

Now it will take only few minutes to create the bootable ISO image of Windows and it can be burned on disc using any CD/DVD burning software.
