Every business wants to make important decisions with their customers’ feedback in mind. It might be which version of your company logo will people like better? Which Indian dish are you most in trying ? and much more.
So to help businesses, big or small, perform targeted market research using online surveys Google has introduced a new do-it-yourself product called Consumers Surveys .
Google’s offering includes straightforward setup of multiple choice questions, point-scale rankings, and more, but also promises to pay websites that present surveys to their visitors.
The below video offers more details about the Consumer Survey product.
A Monetization Source for Web Publishers
With Consumer Surveys, Google wants to create a model that benefits everyone. The readers get to keep enjoying favorite online content, businesses have a new way of finding out what their customers want and at the same time publishers have an additional option for making money from that content.
If you’re a web publisher, then you have an opportunity to use this product to make money online. The company creating the survey will pay Google $0.10 per response (for a general survey) or $0.50 per response for a demographically targeted survey.
These surveys can be embedded on your website and Google will pay the web publisher a commission each time a visitor completes the survey. Google has put up an online form for publishers who wish to apply for the Consumer Survey Program.
