Simon Ford and his team over at Mbed has created the USB Slingshot for Angry Birds after feeling that the game should in fact be a sport. Instead of using your mouse or trackpad to control the slingshot, you use a real slingshot that connects to your computer.
The Slingshot has an accelerometer to measure the tilt of the controller and has a Rubber stretch sensor to measure that how hard you can pull it back before mapping those movements onto the appropriate mouse controls via USB.
