There are more thousands of apps out there, each with their own page on iTunes and Android market with ratings, and version history. It’s confusing, disheartening at times, and just plain difficult. So finding cool and useful apps involves lot of hard work.
Today’s tip is about a discovery app named Appsfire Deals. It is quite possibly the single best app for finding best free apps and deals too. And it’s free itself.

Appsfire Deals have some sort of algorithm that takes into account apps that are free, on sale, and top ranked in the App Store, and then some sort of “quality” index is applied to apps. This way, you’re not stuck with a long list of awful apps with ugly icons and horrifying names to sort through on your own.

Find New App Deals Every Day With Appsfire Deals
Appsfire serves up four main categories, all pretty self-explanatory: Now Free, Top Free, Price Drops, and Me. For the last part; it’s used to build an app wish list. When you tap the star next to any app listing, Appsfire adds it to your wish list — and generates an alert when its price drops or it goes free.
That’s a really handy feature.
Suppose, for example, there’s a new Gameloft game priced at $6.99. You know the developer runs occasional weekend sales and other promotions. By wish-listing the game, you’ll be notified the moment there’s a price drop.
