This works based on USSD technology (Unstructured Supplementary Data), which is used by the mobile service providers to inform them about balance after a call, miss call alerts etc.

To get started, you can dial the *515# number and access Twitter for : Tweeting, Retweet, Search, Maintain Follower list, Maintain Following list then enter your Facebook username and password. Now you will be logged in. You can then send number based commands to access various features of Facebook, chat with friends who are online, add new people to your friends list, and more.

You can also use this service even when you do not have twitter account. You can use it to view the tweets by eminent personalities. Just dial *515# and follow your favorites: Bollywood Tweets, Cricket Tweets, Hot Trends Tweets, Best Tweets, News Tweets, Politics Tweets.

This service is currently available for Airtel and Tata Docomo users in India for a subscription fee of 1.00 per day for unlimited usage.
