Apple is really trying its best to make it as easy as possible for developers to get into the iOS development game – until now their developer resources needed the user to access the developer portal.

Now anyone can get an idea of what is involved in iOS development by just accessing “Start Developing iOS Apps Today”, without signing up for anything. This guide provides complete instructions about tools required for iOS apps development, installation, basic tasks, developer registration etc.

“Creating iOS apps is fun and rewarding, and if you’re a new developer you might be wondering where to begin. This road map provides the perfect starting point for iOS app development. Do you want your app to be universal—that is, an app that runs on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch,”

Rovio’s Next Big Game Angry Birds Space is Launching on March 22

With more than 700 million all platform downloads of the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and movie tie-in Angry Birds Rio titles, the upcoming release will help Rovio edge towards the unparalleled one billion downloads milestone with the announcement of Angry Birds Facebook beta.

Now the developer Rovio has confirmed release of new game called Angry Birds Space on 22nd March 2012. It is a completely new game with innovative new gameplay, but with some of the familiar Angry Birds elements that fans already know and love — plus some surprises!

As you can probably guess, the hook this time around will be some new physics to deal with, including zero gravity and a new “lightspeed destruction” feature, but details on the game itself otherwise remain a bit light, including any specific word on supported platforms.

How to Automatically Switch Default Printers Based on Location

Laptop computers were originally designed as portable and these compact computers can be used on the go. However every time you connect from any new location, you have to manually change your default printers. If you are you tired of this process ? Don’t worry, Windows 7 will solve your problem.

Set Default Printers Based on Location / Networks

First go to Start menu and select “Devices and Printers”. In the Devices and Printers interface, select the printer you want to use on the first network and then click Manage default printers on the toolbar.

Check the box to “Change my default printer when I change networks”. Select the network for which you want this printer to be the default, from the Drop-Down list.

Repeat the procedure for each network, then click OK to save your changes. And that’s it!

Obesity is a big health problem in developed countries and it can also become an obstacle in social and working relationships.. The young people and adults of all walks of life do not have a proper relationship with their body and with food. Even though people are conscious of having a problem do not have the willpower to try to regain control of their lives and seek shortcuts often ineffective.

Even today there are easy solutions promising miraculous results, none of them can replace a strong will to change our lifestyle.What we need now is a really big, really scary robot trainer. This guy is called Gymbot, and its creator thinks that it might be an indispensable weight loss tool in the year 2020.

Gymbot designed by Max Battaglia is meant to help whip puny human softbodies into shape. The conceptual ‘bot would stay in the user’s home 24 hours a day to coach the human owner in matters of healthy eating and an active lifestyle. Sensors in the Gymbot analyze the user’s body composition so that the robot can give advice on how to get healthier. According to Battaglia, the Gymbot is meant to motivate overweight people who realize they have a problem but do not have the motivation to change their lifestyles. And presumably, this problem is solved when you have a scary-looking humanoid standing over you telling you to stand up and start exercising.

Like any good trainer, it gives gentle guidance. It will demonstrate the correct way to perform exercises and give pointers when it sees incorrect form being used. It will even do the exercises along with you, giving you the benefit of the buddy system.

Meet ‘Jennifer’: The World’s First Hockey-Playing Humanoid Robot

Chris Iverach-Brereton, a 26-year-old computer science graduate student from University of Manitoba, has been working on “Jennifer” — whose namesake is women’s hockey player Jennifer Botterill — for months. Now it is the world’s first hockey-playing robotic humanoid.

“Jennifer” is based on “Dynamic Anthropomorphic Robot with Intelligence–Open Platform DARwIn-OP ” is an open-source humanoid robot developed by korean robot manufacturer Robotis.
